Printing in multiple colors

So I'm trying to  print the following but I'm not sure if it can be done.  This print will be a black plate with raised letters and a border.  As you can see, one of the letters is in a different color.  Can anyone offer any tips on how this can be achieved?

The easiest for this particular example would be to use a colour change at level for the background and design just the one letter to be two layers taller than the others so that another colour change at level facilitated the change.

RE: Printing in multiple colors

It's possible, and I assume without using an MMU or similar multi-color device.

The simplest option is to print that letter separately and glue it to the rest of the sign. Easy peasy.

If you want to print it as one piece, you can use the fake multi-extruder method. In your print profile, tell Prusaslicer you are using two extruders. In your design, create two parts, one for the letter, one for the rest of the sign. Not sure how to export it from Tinkercad as a two part model though. In Prusaslicer, assign one extruder to the letter, the other one to the sign. Quite of few examples of this here, e.g., https://www.printables.com/model/50534-prusa-signs-for-enclosures, with an 3mf file that shows how to configure the slicer. The downside of this approach is that you'll have to swap filament a lot, once per layer for two colors.

Ahhh...sometimes the simple way is the best.  That is exactly what I did and it worked like a charm.  I guess I need to stop thinking that an entire part of a print has to be printed in one color when really all that matters is what is showing.  Thanks for the advice!
