Pre-Print Purge
I have seen several videos where there was a pre-print purge on the build plate prior to printing on the model. Is this a function of the printer or the slicer? Presently using 2.2.0 on a 64bit windows machine and a Artillery X1. I have not been able to find a tick box in the slicer so do I need to use a gcode line prior to the model print gcode? Please go easy on me I'm a noobie and also a 100% disabled veteran using 3d printing as a "keep mind busy" effort.
Thanks

RE: Pre-Print Purge
Slicer.
You can see it if you examine the start-up gcode. You can change it if you want. You can write your own if you really want the experience. 😉
Cura and PS, on non-MMU2S settings, have a shorter maybe 1/4 of the width prime line and PS with MMU2S settings has a back-and-forth almost full-width prime line.
RE: Pre-Print Purge
I use a squiggle during purge to try to scrub off any Klingons...
