Patchy support painting in Slicer 2.6.1

With my larger models (like a site model with 12,000 facets), regardless of which support painting brush is used (sphere, circle, triangles), with both Enforce Supports and Block Supports, the result is a very patchy color fill that makes it hard to tell if the desired paint-on support has in fact been applied. This behavior does not show up in simpler models.

RE: Patchy support painting in Slicer 2.6.1

I've seen a lot of this behavior in the latest versions of Slicer, I believe this to be a problem with video drivers and how these latest versions are handling them, this same behavior occurs with all the iterations of the brush tool. Seams, Supports and Multi-Mat tool, normally in my experience it is still applied properly, although this makes it very difficult to use these tools in these versions. In my experience I would not expect a fix in the next few years, I still use 2.4.2 as it is the best working latest version, and my opinion is that 2.5 and + are not more then poorly conceived and even worse implemented experiments that have proved to be failures.
