Overhang Perimeters not generating
Hey Guys,
I seem to have this issue where Prusa Slicer is not counting any of my bridges as overhangs. As you can see in the top left hand corner under feature type the entire print only accounts for 3 seconds of perimeter overhangs when you can clearly see many over hangs and bridges. I would really like to use bridge flow ratio and bridge fan speed for these areas but cannot get Prusa to recognize them as such.
Thanks for your help!
RE: Overhang Perimeters not generating
can you add the Project file, so that we are not guessing?
Click 'File>Save Project As' and save the project as a recognisable name,
then Zip Compress the .3mf Project file. and attach the Zip file to your next post, Please
regards Joan

RE: Overhang Perimeters not generating
Of course! My original problem was some of my bridging was sagging quite a bit and unfortunately the bridge flow ratio didn't seem to have an affect. I also adjusted extra length on restart to zero. I thought it was perhaps because Prusa wasn't recognizing these as bridges and therefore the bridge flow ratio wasn't engaging. Also my fan speed never ramps up during the bridges which further supports my suspicion that Prusa is not treating theses as bridges or overhangs. Thanks!
RE: Overhang Perimeters not generating
Is the bridge fan speed only for infill? Or is it supposed to work for perimeters as well? It not working for me at the moment 🙁
RE: Overhang Perimeters not generating
Sorry if any of my previous responses have been ill informed or confusing, my main goal is to stop the sagging of the internal structure by any means possible without adding infill. This is part of an airplane wing from 3d print labs using Polymaker Light Weight PLA. Any suggestions are much appreciated thanks!
