Optimized "Avoid crossing perimeters" option?

I was wondering if it would be useful and possible to optimize the "Avoid crossing perimeters" option on single isles of one object, so that it first prints one part and then moves down and prints the other isolated part of the object (as long as it does not violate the extruder clearance area of course). The reason is that unfortunately the "Avoid crossing perimeters" option does not work when layers of an object have isles which produces a lot of stringing when you print with flexible filament.

"Avoid crossing perimeters" is part of Path Planning and to my knowledge the Prusa developers is working on a better version to the next release. Take a look at  GitHub issues on Path Planning.

Have a look at my models on Printables.com 😉
