No infill all solid

Sliced an STL file and found a long print time.  As it was printing found it is printing "solid", with no apparent infill.  The item has wall only about 3mm wide, but, to me, do not  need to be solid.  Rather that attempt to describe the  object, it can be viewed here: ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2747478)

If I can save filament and time by making it use an infill pattern that would be great.  There must be a setting for minimum wall thickness but I'm not seeing it.  Perhaps Layers and Perimeters, Vertical shells ,  Perimeters?

RE: No infill all solid

Sorry, Joea, the link to thingiverse returns error 404 for me.  (Page not found)

Could you save your Prusa Slicer project file as a .3mf file, then Zip compress the file, and finally attach the zipfile, to your next post.

then we can have a look at it.

I have attached a zipped .3mf file below for example.
3mm Blocks

in the .3mf file I have created two bars, each 100mm long, 3mm wide and 20mm tall, and I have added modifiers to change the parameters.
the top bar has so many 'solid top' and 'solid bottom' layers, that there is no room for low density infill.

the bottom bar originally used the default settings, then I added three modifier blocks,

the left hand modifier block, increases the number of perimeters to 4. BUT 4 perimeters will not fit into the space available so prusa slicer effectively uses 3.5 perimeters, Which leaves no space for low density infill.

the middle modifier block increases the number of perimeters to 3. prusa slicer then decided that there is insufficient space left for low density infill, so it leaves a small gap

the right hand modifier uses the default 2 perimeters, but increases the extrusion width of the external perimeters and the remaining perimeters to 0.8mm (Default perimeter extrusion width is 0.45mm with a 0.4mm nozzle)
this causes Prusa slicer to completely fill the space with perimeters, however 4 X 0.8mm = 3.2mm, which is thicker than the part should be, so Prusa slicer automatically revises the perimeter thickness to fit the 3mm part width.

there are two remaining sections of the lower bar, which are un modified, and these show a small amount of  low density infill
changing infill types or densities may increase or decrease the amount of low density infill

regards Joan
