Netfabb repairs
In Slicer 2.2, right clicking on a part description with errors caused Slicer to connect with Netfabb and repair the part. This feature is not working in 2.3.alapha2, 2.3.alpha3 and 2.3.beta1.
I really like this feature. I hope it comes back!
RE: Netfabb repairs
Yes, also alpha4. I forgot about alpha4.
RE: Netfabb repairs
Huh, works fine for me for any models for which PrusaSlicer throws up the warning sign. I'm running the beta and have run the alphas before.

RE: Netfabb repairs
I'll check again when I get home. Maybe it's a Linux problem?
RE: Netfabb repairs
It’s not available on Linux, only windows 10 from what I remember. You can always fall back to the netfabb online service though.
RE: Netfabb repairs
There is a native Netfabb Linux version. It's a little awkward to use, but I've found that it repairs some things that others do not.

I'm going to have to look into this! Maybe I've been enjoying that feature from Windows not realizing it has never been available from the Linux desktop.

@imhavoc
Its not even available on Windows 7, only Win 10. We are talking about the right click 'fix through netfabb option' the File>Repair Stl option is available still though. It was mentioned on Github, although I cant remember if it was on the release notes for a much older version or if it was mentioned in one of the raised issues. It was awhile a go.

LOL. I had never used File->Repair STL file. I had clicked on it once, but having it work effectively outside the Slicer desktop, then save to an OBJ file made it less useful. I just tested it against a model with 4 errors. When I loaded the repaired OBJ, it showed as having 5 errors.... that's a problem.
RE: Netfabb repairs
I tend to fix things using blenders 3dprint tool anyway.
