MY MODEL IS BLUE INSTEAD OF THE USUAL GREEN AFTER I IMPORTED IT, SLICE OPTION NOT AVAILABLE?

This is the first time I encountered this, I imported an obj. as usual, its manifold with no errors.

Instead of showing up green in the 3D preview it is blue, and I cant slice it.

What does the blue color indicate?

Thanks

YOU DON'T HAVE TO SHOUT.

There should be an error message at the bottom of the 3D view. It usually means that your object is sticking out of the build volume.

Maybe it's too big.

Blue is usually when a model exceeds the build plate size. What does the slicer say is the model size is ?

Thanks for the replies, at the time I was trying to print, I saved another copy of the model  as an STL rather than an OBJ and the problem went away when I opened that it was green.  So I am not sure what the problem was?
