Keeping print direction consistent

Hi there. I am printing a circular belt, vertically, in PLA for use in a music box.  Everything works fine except that, on one layer, a layer that has more holes in it than any of the others, Prusa Slicer decides to change the direction of the print and this leads to issues, see images below.

Is there a setting I can tweak in my Prusa Slicer configuration to stop the print changing direction in this way?  FYI, I've tried halving the print speed (manually on the MK4S printer) but the fault still occurs.

To clarify, here is a view in Prusa Slicer with "show travel" on: it is the criss-crossings in blue that I would like to avoid, I want just the nice [hidden 'cos they are inside the material] unidirectional circular movements.

Could I take a look at the 3MF in my Prusa Slicer?

Try not to exceed 50 mm/s for all layers (except the first layer).

You can also set the fan speed to 100% so that the single line loses temperature quite quickly.

RE:

That has definitely improved things, just a few spots left now.  Is there a speed/fan setting I missed (see below) or should I just try an even lower print speed?  It is not a large print so slower is not a problem.
