Jerk Slicer Setting Redundant If Firmware Is Set To JUNCTION_DEVIATION?

Looking at making a faster profile in PrusaSlicer and noticed there are Jerk setting inside the slicers 'Machine Limits' tab. My question is, if my Marlin 2.0.6 build has the older Jerk undefined in place of the newer Junction Deviation, are these Jerk settings redundant and ignored by the firmware, or will having them included in the Gcode actually define Jerk and override Junction Deviation?

That would be determined by how the printer firmware is programmed.  So unknown unless you can get one of the devs of your firmware to answer (or unless you go through the firmware code yourself and follow the program flow.)

Thank you.

Is there a way to disable PrusaSlicer generating the M205 command in the Gcode?

If you change your printer type under Print Settings->General->Firmware->G-code flavor from Marlin to RepRap/Sprinter, it will generate gcode without the M20x settings. I have not tested this myself, but the gcode has been described as otherwise identical. This might be a good starting point.
