Is there any way to view into a sliced object vertically?
I am 99.9% sure there isn't a way to do this.. But just incase I was missing something I thought I would ask...
You can obvious view a sliced object layer by layer (Horizontally).. But is there a way to view through it 'vertically'?
I often want to visualise the inside of an object and being able to view into it from the side would be really useful.
Are there any external GCODE viewers that can do this? Do you think its worth putting a feature request on Github assuming there isn't one already?
RE: Is there any way to view into a sliced object vertically?
I use CraftWare slicer to view g-code - It has section cut/view at any angle.
Don't think PS can do other than horizontal layer view.
Have a look at my models on Printables.com 😉

Turn the part through 90 degrees and use the normal tool.

Thanks both... I will check out CraftWare.. I used to use it, but after the recent GCODE viewer update in 2.3.0 I uninstalled it.
@towlerg.. Yes this would work, but its not what I am trying to achieve.. I want to be able to inspect the object I am about to print from the side.. So I need it sliced normally, but then a full 3D viewer to inspect it from all angles.
