Is there an easy way to select your latest slicer settings?

Hi all, I've got a few different custom slicer settings for petg, how do i find out which was the most recent save?

Best Answer by Diem:

Use your file manager to navigate into the presets directory and sort by date or look at file properties.

Next time include a version number in the preset name.

hmm, seems to me that if you made custom settings for PETG's that your settings should still be the best, or at least suitable for the PETG's in question. maybe i'm misunderstanding the question?

The file timestamp will reflect when the file was last saved. If you aren't saving the preset, this may not help.

If you want a quick way to save everything, save as a 3MF project file. That will include the model and presets as last modified, even if you didn't save a preset.

Good Luck, move forward

The PETG settings or any filaments settings, as they pertain to the ones offered are only suggestions, as a starting point, you should endeavor to move forward, and tune them for your use. these are not to be perceived as set in stone best settings for your use, you need to look at them on a project by project basis.

Good Luck

I did think about looking at files in file manager for dates but didn't know if there was an easier way, I will add my own date to the profile when I save from now on.

Thanks for the suggestions 😉
