Is there a way to see the 'seam' in the sliced view?
I have recently been printing some cylindrical objects and noticed they were covered in "warts".. I assumed it was my new cheap PLA+ filament but then I noticed there was no seam..
After playing around a bit, I realised that this is a side effect of the default "Nearest" seam position, which appears to act randomly when the object has no edges.. I am not sure if this is new functionality in 2.3, but its certainly something i havn't seen before.
Anyway, during my tests I tried to find a way to view the seam in Slic3r and assumed one of the "feature" options in the sliced view would show it.. But found there is nothing. I did find that turning on "retractions" helped, but not always.
Am I overlooking something? Is there an option to view the layer change points?

Activate the "Retractions" and "Unretractions" checkboxes.

For those of you in 2023 searching for this. I am currently on Prusa 2.5.2.
At the bottom left of the sliced screen, go to Show -> Seams.
They appear white on the print, this is helpful for visualizing where they will be, and you can change the seam options within
Print Settings -> Layers and perimeters -> Advanced -> Seam positions (Random, Nearest, Aligned, Rear)
