Is it possible to add supports to an existing gcode file?
I have an STL that I already split into multiple objects and sliced. I have also printed most of the other split objects. Now I am running in to issues printing the last two parts of the split object. I should have used supports for some large overhangs but I did not add them when I sliced it. I do not think I can re-slice these parts with supports because I doubt will be able to split the original object in exactly the same way that I split it last time.
SO, is there a way to add supports to the gcode file for these parts?

No

And this is why you should get into the habit of saving project files. That way your project would have the split objects saved and you could make as many changes to the settings as you like. Including adding support and then just slice again.
Frustrating I know but take it as a learning experience.

Sage advice and something I have already started doing since this happened. Thank you!
