Is it a bug? Big gaps

I try to set parameters for  AC Vyper with 1mm nozzle

Almost everything is ok but the printer makes big gaps between the start and endpoint of the lines. Much bigger then visible in the slicer. test file

RE:

I think you need to optimize your retraction settings. It looks like there is no filament extruding when the extruder already moves after deretraction. You have 6.5 mm set as retraction length, this seems a lot even for a bowden extruder. I suggest you try a little less retraction length, if this is not enough or you have some filament loss due to oozing you might try adding a little "extra length on restart" or reduce the temperature a bit to prevent that.

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

Thank you for your reply. Yes it is a bowden extruder, but the retraction setting worked well for 0.4mm nozzle. I even thought need bigger because 1 mm nozzle allows lot of filament and leave bumps many times when stops or changing direction

My first thought was a bug in a slicer. As you can see the prusa visualization looks almost ok but the real gcode also showed the gaps. I included now the gcode here: test gcode

you can report bugs on the prusa slicer git hub page.

I try to make safe suggestions,You should understand the context and ensure you are happy that they are safe before attempting to apply my suggestions, what you do, is YOUR responsibility. Location Halifax UK
