Invers GCode Creation
Hello,
i tried to slice this model https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/53282-parametric-lightweight-masterspool
The preview of the stl looks good, but the Gcode preview is obviously wrong. The holes are filled, the material is missing.

I tried 0,4mm profiles, 0.8mm profiles, all with the same result. Tried different options, no change.
I tried attached the 3mf for reference, but am not able.
The Stl was created in openSCAD, with the v4 masterspool version with exploded+cutaway option. Default values otherwise.
PrusaSlicer 2.3.0+win64
Prusa Mini+ since 4. March 2021, with e3d v6 all metal hotend.

I tried the PrusaSlicer 2.3.1-rc, it seems to work there. Also the stl is shown more correctly.

To attach files you must first zip them up as 3mf or stl etc are not allowed formats.
The issues with the model are almost certainly down to openscad. In fact you can see issues with the original file before slicing (the darker faces where there shouldn't be). Unless created perfectly Openscad models have a tendency to slice exactly as you show.
The new as yet to be released PS 2.4 is supposed to have better automatic fixing for the common Openscad pitfalls but this is not an error in Prusa Slicer but in the source model.

I tried with the parameters you gave, it sliced OK with slicer 2.3.1
But that model is almost too parametric, it is extremely easy to break if you play with the parameters without checking the code; even if you think you have reset them.
I suggest you download the file again and make the one change by cut and paste from a clean copy. Does it slice OK now?

I sliced it in 2.3.1-rc and that was ok. I printed it, and it looks ok. But i think i will use empty prusament spools in future for Masterspools.
It is very parametric with a high focus on building a lightweight model, this of course can be the root of the problem. Well, it seems to be "fixed" in the 2.3.1, and that should be it then.
