Interlaced Topologically Interlocking Lattice for continuous dual-material extrusion

Does anyone know if Prusa is working on incorporating  interlocking lattice capability into Prusa Slicer?

I don't have a MMU, but I figured out a way to do multi material prints doing manual filament changes.  If PrusaSlicer did the interlocking lattice, I could print functionally gradient materials.  Pretty cool...

That's the way to do it but I wouldn't trust the job to the slicer.  Like supports the structure created by slicer defaults is a fallback for when you must download someone else's design and they have not incorporated custom structures.  Ideally you will create a tailored interlock at the design stage.

I'm re-opening this thread because I think this is a somewhat necessary feature for the multi-head XL.  Sure, you can design everything in the model, but this makes the geometry really tricky.  I was trying to do such an interface in Solidworks and it will break a lot of your mates, change geometry, etc.  Ideally it should be determined by the layer size, nozzle, etc.  You might not know these parameters in the design phase.  I feel like doing this in the slicer is ideal.
