Infill modifier has always same density than part, how to make different infill density

Hello,

I have a part with screw holes.

Firstly I imported stl for part.

Second I right click on part and select "Add Modifier->Load" In this second stl, which is loaded, there are only cylinders at each screw position, larger than the hole itself. For this modifier I want to set infill density to 100 %, whereas the part itself should have just 10%.

My problem is now, when I am changing the density of one item, the other item's density is changed to the same value automatically. How to define independent densities?

PrusaSlicer Version:

PrusaSlicer 2.3.1

Many thanks in advance

That should work. Are you changing density for the modifier in the correct way? It's not done in the normal drop box or in print settings. Right click on the modifier and chose "infill". That should give you infill settings specific for the modifier.

If that's what your doing. zip the project file and upload it to the forum so we can see what's going wrong.

yes, actually I did it like you described!

hmm, but it seems, somewhere I have made always the same mistake. Seems, I have changed the density value in the wrong edit box. Now it is working!

Many thanks for your assistance!
