I have a problem with smooth rounded edges 🙁

Hello,

I have a problem with an object where in 3d view, the edges have a nice curve.

But on the slice view, the edge look very ugly.

how can i avoid this if i want nice curved edges???

Thanks

Without you attaching the zipped up it's impossible to say anything definitive but for cases like this it's 99% one of these two issues:

1. An error in the STL. You should see a triangle warning sign next to the part name.

2. Wall is too thin to print with that nozzle size.

"attaching the zipped up" ... the what ??? 🤔😅

Thanks for the hints.

i don't have triangle error next to the name.

too bad that i don't know yet how to modify a 3d object 🙁

Zipped up project file. In PS use file>save project as to generate a 3mf file. A ps project contains the model and all the settings you are slicing with. That allows us to debug and work out what could be wrong far more easily than any other method. You have to zip up the 3mf though for the forum to accept it. The forum only allows very limited types of files.

Best guess without the project is it’s the new arachne slicing engine having problems. I’ve seen similar issues. Switching back to classic or playing with the Arachne settings can help.

Here i was able to provide the .zip file. That would be a good idea that the administrator of the website let people upload .rar files too 🤔

avant bras (droite)

How do you "switch back" to classic settings???

RE:

i can't edit my last message, so i repost here.

i have find the Classic/Arachne switch. The result is not perfect but itt indeed improve the slicing. So for that piece, i will keep using the Classic engine 😛

Thanks for the help. 👍
