How to scale down AND maintain clearances between parts for print-in-place models?

Hello,

I'm trying to scale down this gear bearing https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/114535-perfect-gear-bearing however, the clearances between the gears seem to be scaling down also, which is causing the parts to stick together.

Is there a way to scale down in prusa slicer or otherwise, and maintain clearances between parts so they remain unconnected?

Scaling a STL will always scales all aspects of this, thankfully this STL is the same sort of gear I use often, a while back I found a scad file for making these to suit our needs, I've attached the file in this post, just open in openSCAD and on the right hand side select the parameters you need.

In PrusaSlicer you can use a negative xy compensation to increase the clearance.

Scaling up is usually a good strategy to get more clearance but scaling down not so much. Playing with XY compensation may work but then again it will affect the whole model, just like scaling but only in the xy plane. If you have access to a tool such as Fusion you can load the model and push the faces back that form the gears.

Thanks, I suspected there was no way to maintain gap tolerances.  I had found the scad from thingiverse and started tinkering with it.  It may work out.  Thanks for suggesting!
