How to merge two parts to one

I'm trying to merge these two parts before slicing so i can print it as one.
Both parts are from the same model, i just split and twisted the hat 90 degrees and would like to merge them again.
I can't select both and then right click to merge as many posts are suggesting.

RE: How to merge two parts to one

have you tried clicking on the Prusa Slicer editor view screen, then typing Ctrl +A to select all components then choosing Merge.

or have you tried exporting the Plate as an STL/Obj?
then re importing the new stl!

This doesn't seem to be an option for 2.7.4+

RE:

Looking at the picture, aren't they already merged...? The top row has the eye icon, that's the merged object that contains parts A&B.

Atleast that's how merged thigs show up for me.
