How to interconnect small parts ?
Hi!
I'm new to the world of PrusaSlicer and 3D printing.
I made my first steps...
How can I interconnect small parts in Prusa slice, to lower the possibility to move during the print.
I have 10 small parts to print. 5X2 rows.
The base of each parts are 5mm width and 10mm long and 6mm height. This is actually hard to keep sticking on the bed.
These are some tubes.
If add a brim to every single tube, that's ok but maybe it would be a better option to have an option to interconnect them during the printing with a kind of one layer height and 1mm with line. This could help to stay in place the parts.
Is there any option like this in Prusa?
Thanks
RE: How to interconnect small parts ?
Something like this?
I created a small, single layer STL that I could add to the build plate, move around and re size as necessary and then merge with the models I am trying to print, and these strips add support that is easier to remove than a brim
In later times,
Prusa let you right click on an element of your model and then choose Add Part>Slab
and prusa slicer will insert an enormous slab on the screen, you can re size this and lower it to the build plate and this part will become part of the model
I prefer to make my own support strip. you may find using prusa slicer to generate the support strip, easier.

If you follow Joan's advice, one tip because it's not obvious: After adding the slab, click on the padlock item next to the part dimensions to "unlock" them. That way you can scale all dimensions independently.

Hi!
Yea, looks like something I'm searching for.
I will try and repot.
Thanks.
