How to group bodies in multi body 3mf?

I have a multibody part imported into Prusa Slicer via AMF format and all the bodies are in place just fine. There are 25 of them. I would like to be able to group them together into to be able to easily assign extruders to the bodies. I can find no way to do this and must assign an extruder to each body individually. Kind of a pain. Am I missing something? There is also no way to directly select individual bodies on the plate as I can find no selection filter.

If I load a 3MF and all bodies are selected, I'm able to press ESC to deselect all of them, then individually select parts.

So far a multi-selecting and assigning an extruder, I believe you are correct. Only the 1st part is assigned a new extruder despite multiple having been selected. I'd suggest opening an issue on Prusa's github page for PrusaSlicer. The devs are very responsive.

Another tack for this might be being able to do the reverse of an existing feature. Currently if you load an object that consists of several parts you can split it into separate parts. Having the reverse would be good, select a bunch of parts and recombine them into one part.

Not sure how to suggest how to handle combining several parts that have different settings modifiers applied to them...
