how to downgrade prusa slicer

I just accepted the invitation to upgrade PrusaSlicer 2.5.1 (Mac) to 2.5.2.

Now it's generating G-code that my printer won't accept (M201 - M207)

How can I revert back?  I tried loading the old .dmg file but apparently there are some files external to the dmg, so I'd like to start with a clean slate; remove the app completely and reinstall 2.5.1, but PrusaSlicer doesn't follow the rules for Mac uninstall!

Please help

Walt

RE:

Prusa slicer stores all its config data separate from the application.  You can uninstall it but it does not remove that.  If you want a clean install you will have to remove (delete or rename) the config folders.  I dont know where they are located on a MAC as I dont have one but to find out where they are you can simply use Help within PS.  There's an option to show you the config folder location.

With a clean install you will of course need to run through the wizard again to get any system profiles installed.  I hope you have been using the Export Config Bundle option regularly to make backups of any non system custom user profiles you may have ?

Anyway clearing it out and installing 2.5.1 again might not work anyway as the software will try and download the updated profiles again so you better not accept when it prompts you to.

Its why making your own detached copies of profiles and saving them is important.  Prusa can update theirs at any point and all of a sudden it doesnt slice the same as some setting in the tree has been altered.  If you have any based on theirs that arent detached as the depend on the base profiles those can also be affected.
