How remove wipe tower from layout when only one color being used

I need to print a nearly full build plate with 50 copies of a small part.

PrusaSlicer assumes, since I have an MMU, that it needs a wipe tower, and reserves a huge area for it, which is then not available for arranging my parts for printing.

It ought to see that no color switches are being done and not plan a wipe tower.

How can I get rid of the wipe tower?

Best Answer by Neophyl:

Just go to Print Settings>Multiple Extruders>Wipe Tower>Enable and untick the box.

RE: How remove wipe tower from layout when only one color being used

Hi. My printer does have multiple extruders, but the Slicer software does not have that option Multiple Extruders, but individual settings for each of the 5 tools. So, the question remains. Where do I go to remove that wipe block? I cannot select it and delete it, and I don't have that option Multiple Extruders>Wipe Tower> under Print Settings. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The setting you are looking for is under the Print Profile not the printer profile.  Also its a yellow coded setting so you must be in Advanced or Expert mode to see it.

You haven't mentioned what printer you are using or the profiles you have installed etc but from 5 tool I have to make the assumption that's its a 5 tool XL.  I just installed that printer and the wipe tower setting is there  in the Print Settings as normal.

Thanks a lot, @Neophy , with your help, I was able to find the option to disable the wipe tower.

I am posting this image in case it helps another person after me.

About my printer, it is an Original XL with 5 tools. Thanks again. I am a newbie.

If you have an MMU you can use the "MMU single mode" printer profile to achive the same. (no wipetower)

Also: this profile makes the printer (LCD) ask for the filament to load prior printing, so you do not need to select it in Slicer. (or wonder which filament an older code-file wants to load)

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

Hi, Robin. Thank you for your help. What is an MMU?
