How can PrusaSclicer "Negative volume" help with "outside printer area"?

I want to 3Dprint Gimbal.stl ...
https://www.printables.com/model/129329-universal-travel-coffee-gimbal/files

... on my Prusa MINI+. Unfortunately Y size of that model is 184.53mm, which is bigger than 180mm MINI+ print area.

"Negative Volume" ...
https://help.prusa3d.com/de/article/negative-volume_238503

... allows to remove stuff from models during slicing. So I added negative volume to reduce to <180mm Y size. Unfortunately PrusaSlicer does not let me start slicing, although slicing would not have a problem with the negative volume added.

Is that a PrusaSlicer bug?

How can I 3Dprint Gimbal.stl on MINI+ without scaling?

Best Answer by Stefan:

Use the "Cut" tool instead, to cut away a piece of the model.

How can I 3Dprint Gimbal.stl on MINI+ without scaling?

I found answer to that for that Gimbal.stl and MINI+ — rotation by 45° makes Gimbal fit into MINI+ print area, and it can be sliced:

But the general question stands, what can be done if rotation does lot lead to a model fully inside MINI+ print area?
Can "Negative Volume" help somehow?
