Hot End Moves to the back and bottom left after a print

Hi! For some reason, instead of raising and moving out of the way after a print is done, it moves the hot end to the back left portion of the build plate and rests it on the plate, not even above it. This is not great because it can possibly hit larger prints that I do. Is there any way to change it so that it does not do that?

What slicer are you using?

the standard Prusa Slicer profile for a Prusa Mini, with 0.4mm nozzle has the following custom G code, end Gcode

Which should take the extruder UP out of the way

Im using Prusaslicer 2.4.1, the Mini and Mini+ settings. My ending G-code is the same as yours, and I just noticed that when I turn on Path while looking at the Preview, it shows it doing the right thing. In real life though, it goes to where it says in the picture. I am not sure whether it goes up and out of the way first or not, I will find out when my next print is finished (1.5 hours).

Update your printer firmware. There was a change in recent PS release that requires it. There are a couple of threads in the mini forum about it.

I just now updated my Prusa Mini to the latest firmware. Held off because it was running fine for so long. Ran a long print last night and noticed the hot end scraped the top of my print and burnt it. Why is the hotend now ending in the back bottom left corner?
