Honeycomb Infill for Top Layer(s)

I was wondering if there was a way to use the honeycomb infill pattern as a top layer for a print. I want to texturize the surface finish of a flat, horizontal surface for a better grip. Is there a way to set this up in PSlicer?

RE: Honeycomb Infill for Top Layer(s)

Interesting question, and I have one answer for you. There may be other techniques.

I applied a height-range modifier to the top of a cube. I arbitrarily chose 2 layers. To this modifier I set the number of top layers to 0 and the infill to honeycomb. I also added 2 layers to the default top layers for the full object to get the default number of top layers under the honeycomb texture. Here is the project for my experiment and a screenshot of the sliced result.

TopHexTexture

There may be other ways to do this, but this was my first thought.
