Help with prusaslice - first few layers

It seems no matter what I try, skirts/brims and the base of the object being printed only come out as a few widely spaced individuals lines:

I can't seem to figure out how to make this an actual solid print. The base of the object being printed looks just like the brim. Needless to say I'm having adherence issues due to there being such a low surface area. This only happens when printing from prusaslice.

I'm sure I've got something set up wrong, but any idea how to fix it?

Hi jasoninnv

It's difficult to help with limited information.

can you let us know what the model STL is, (Send a copy or a link)

if you can save your Information in Prusa slicer as a Project file, (Files>Save Project as:) then Zip compress the file, you can attach the file to a post on here, for us to look at...

Similarly, a Picture of the first layer can be helpful

Your picture seems to show a hollow, or vase mode print surrounded by a number of Skirt outlines (No Infill)
the Skirt outlines appear to be separate individual lines, where they should be joined together by the first layer squish....  on an ender build plate

Generally speaking , correct temperatures, first layer squish,  and bed cleanliness are the  key to adhesion.

Is your Ender Manual adjustment for the bed levelling?
the only part of the first layer we can see, is the Skirt area.

Please be aware that the Skirt does not help to hold the model down

A Brim, on the other hand, can be used to make the contact area larger and reduce lifting (BUT You need to be aware that Elephants foot compensation causes a small gap between the model and the Brim, )

on the Prusa Build plates,
I wash the surface to make sure it's clean

regards Joan

I try to make safe suggestions,You should understand the context and ensure you are happy that they are safe before attempting to apply my suggestions, what you do, is YOUR responsibility. Location Halifax UK

Yes, that is my problem. This is happening trying to set up a brim.

I can take a picture of the bottom of a model, but it looks just like the rest of the visible area if that "skirt", which I am to understand should be a solid brim.

It doesn't matter which model or object in trying to print, it does this with every single one.

Bed is level and perfectly clean. Again, I ONLY have this issue when printing from prusaslice. This doesn't happen when using a different slicer.
