Help on First layer being full

hello Everybody,

3d noob here 🙂

i am looking for advice on how to prevent the slicer for making a full first layer for the supports.

the supports in the picture are in honeycomb however the first layer is made in a full plate.

I would like to have the supports printed as honeycomb all the way through.

making it very diffic to remove.. somebody has a trick or tip for me please?

RE:

If I understand your question correctly you want the supports (light green) to have no bottom base layer ?  If so you can’t. The minimum % PRUSA allows is 10%. If you want a honeycomb pattern on that model then model it into the actual model design. Supports are designed to be removed and are temporary.  Save your project as a 3mf and then zip it up and attach it  it may not even need support as it may bridge. We would need the project to examine the possibilities.

If that’s not what you want then you will have to provide better clarity.

hi Neophyl,

you understood correctly, the supports i want them to be easy to remove. Now i have to break through the first full layer before reaching

the honeycomb to remove with the pliers.
