Handling of options by layers - Considering migrating from CURA
hi, I’m frustrated by the communication of options by layer in CURA. Even if you change i.e. the flow for the top and bottom layers it only applies to the infill of them. Walls are still only influenced by their respective setting.
Is this handled differently by Prusa slicer? Do layer specific option apply to the whole layer or only to what Prusa Slicer decides is a part of the layer in that situation?
Bonus question: In Prusa slicer, is bridging direction decided by the shortest path over the whole layer or by the shortest path over the void/area to bridge? CURA is using the shortest path over the whole layer, which leads to undesirable results, bringing along a gab instead crosswise because in some situations top/bottom layers have cutouts with shorter features in that direction.
