General Speed Reduction in the slicer
While my model is printing, I can change the speed of the print as a % of the configured speed from the printer user interface. Rather than waiting for the print to begin, is there a way to adjust all print speed settings as a % of the base speeds and save this as a filament preset?

@volksswitch
I had to make a phone call to find the link to this thread 😜 .
Changing Print speed via LCD display (>>%) how can I do it in slic3rPE?
Very old thread, however, still very pertinent in Today's Slicer. This should set you on your way.

RE: General Speed Reduction in the slicer
It would be great to put this in the slicer in a way that doesn't make me break out my calculator and is an across-the-board speed reduction rather than a max...
But thanks for the response.
RE:
Your welcome,
I could show you other ways, however, I don't see the calculator ever going away, math is a massive inevitable part of 3d printing. Wait till you have to calculate the coefficient of thermal expansion, for the filament your using.
This is more then a hobby, it's a commitment. LOL, I know what the companies, Prusa and the like try to sell people on, but I have decades of experience.
It's unavoidable, but we're here for you, I scene that you may become a very serious user .

P.s. I've even used my experience to help Tesla, years before Elon showed his crazy.
RE: General Speed Reduction in the slicer
Am I correct that the speed % that appears on the display proportionately adjusts all the speed settings whereas MVS just sets a limit for certain of the speed values? If so, then I'd like to have a simpler way to just say - Hey! Slow down! - rather than have to get specific.
