Gaps in first layer after upgrading to 2.3.1

I've been printing for over a year on my Mini with few issues. After recently upgrading to version 2.3.1, I now see gaps in the first layer around the outer wall regardless of the filament I use. I'm using all default settings, as I have for the past year. PrusaSlicer has always created one big gap when it starts printing the first layer. But in previous versions, it would go back and fill it in before moving to the next layer. In addition to the one big gap, I also now get lots of little gaps around the outer wall. That never used to happen.

Is this a bug or do I need to adjust some settings?

Here's the version info from the About window: Version 2.3.1+win64

I would first test this on a print part that has already been run through. If the problem persists, it may be due to the following causes:

- unleveled printbed (warped)

- bad first layer life-z-adjust

- too low nozzle/bed temperatures

- wrong flow/extrusion rate (underextrusion)

- inncorecr filament diameter or layerwidth

- wrong nozzlediameter

good success in solving the problem!

wbr,

Karl

Maybe if you save the project as a 3mf, zip it, and upload it here, you can get more targeted advice as we can see all your settings.

Now I'm thinking it's bad gcode. I just started another print (same model but different gcode) and it's printing perfectly. Thanks for the help though.
