First time printing with supports, help needed

hey there,

I've had my printer for awhile, but have only printed pretty simple models. A friend asked me to print this ( https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-the-townley-greyhounds-112600) and I gave it a shot without any adjustments - well clearly I wasn't paying attention to all the areas that need supports. So I tried to turn supports on, but it seemed like I needed to turn on "supports everywhere" to be able to get the pieces that were "inside" the  model (as opposed to the ones that overhang the build plate).

Then I did a bit more reading on supports and on some folks that had printed it saying (and I saw in the manual) that sometimes it's helpful to angle the print to make it easier to print.

So, with that in mind, I was hoping to get some guidance on how some of you might go about printing this. Ideally it'd print as one object as I don't really want a seam running through the middle of it if at all possible.

Thanks for any advice, it's much appreciated!

I think the new organic support will work well with that model.  For starters, set supports to 'For support enforcers only', change support style to 'Organic', and use paint-on supports -- the 'automatic painting' option in the paint on supports might give you all you need, but it might also need a bit of tweaking.
