Filament profiles not available for MK4S MMU3 printer
I added some filaments to my PrusaSlicer settings today, to prepare for some new filament types.
For those I also wanted to prepare some "filament sample stl slices" for my filament sample box, but was not able to select the materials with active MMU printer. The normal "MK4S" settings let me select it as workaround.
So when I select the MK4s with 0.4mm nozzle, I get all wanted filaments:
But when I switch to the MK4S + MMU printer, the available filaments list is reduced to this:
I understand that FLEX is skipped for MMU, but why are PCTG and ASA and PC Blend skipped?
How can I (locally?) fix this?
RE: Filament profiles not available for MK4S MMU3 printer
Correct only small subset of filaments are 'officially' supported . There are several posts on here already about this. If the search worked a damn then you could find them. Unfortunately it sucks. Same with how to modify the profiles to let them appear on other non compatible printer and print profiles by changing the compatibility conditions in the dependencies section of the profile as well as removing preset inheritance. Have to be in expert mode to make those changes though.
There is also at least one currently closed issue on the PS github requesting prusa to expand the filaments for the MMU, https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/13682 so I don't expect that position to change anytime soon.
