Filament Presets have disapperaerd, only one available is named "Undefined"

Using Core One with Prusa Slicer 2.9.3. A few days ago I started having printing issues (print head would loose registration and start printing somewhere else; absorbing heat would go on for hours; poor bed adhesion). Today I noticed that the only filament listed was named "Undefined", none of my pre-sets were available and I was not able to load them when running Configuration Assistant (I could select them but after pressing "Finish" they were still missing from the filament drop down menu.) The filament "Undefined" had strange settings like 0 for bed temperature and 0 for chamber temperature. Nozzle temperature was set to 200 so the printer would print (I had to cancel heat absorption) but basically just made a mess on the bed. I updated to 2.9.4 and I see that some default print settings have changed but 2.9.4 did not solve the filament issue. Currently I created a PLA setting by manually changing some of the settings but I am not sure if I have set all of them correctly (and I have no idea if other default settings for speed, acceleration, etc. are correct for PLA.) I have a good idea how to mange this printer but I am at a loss. All suggestions appreciated...

OK, I believe I solved the problem. I deleted the .initial file for the printer "Copy" and restarted Slicer. All my User defined filaments then showed up when the default printer loaded (Core with MMU). I have no idea why a copy of Core MMU would create such a mess. The only change I made was to select the colour of the filaments, that created a Core MMU copy but somehow it made a real mess. Fingers crossed that the issue is solved, took a bit of thinking and more than one beer....
