Figuring out my slicer settings off g-code?

Hello there and please help.... So... I'm new, got my printer for last christmas. Spend ton of time figuring out the best settings to work my prints nicely (the speeds, temperatures, jerks...). And then, my notebook died, with my Prusaslicer. Got new notebook, instaled Prusaslicer but the settings are gone for good. I am left with my g-codes. Is there any way to figure out those settings off the g-codes, to get my printing profile back? I can't remember a single parameter (except I print my PLA at 218 degrees....).

File -> Import -> Import Config... -> Choose g-code file you want settings from

Prusa i3 MK3S+ FW 3.11.0 (kit dec -20), PrusaSlicer 2.6.1+win64, Fusion 360, Windows 10

And learn from your experience.  File>Export>Export Config bundle.  That saves a pack with any non system profiles in it (Print/Filament/Printer).  That bundle can then be restored using the import Config Bundle option.  You can save the backup anywhere you like as its just a ini file.

So on a new install you just run through the wizard to get your basic system profiles like printer and filaments etc and then do the import of the bundle and its all back to being available.

Ringarn's method is of course the best.  But also keep in mind that gcode files are just text files which you can open in any text editor and PrusaSlicer puts the configurations at the end of the file.

You may also want to consider redirecting your PrusaSlicer configuration directory to a cloud drive such as OneDrive, Google Drive, or iCloud. That way, if your laptop dies you still have a copy.
