Feature restrictions on modified layers, any workarounds???

I am trying to transition from Simplify3d to PrusaSlicer.  I have used S3D a LONG time and it makes some things so easy I can't understand why I cannot do the same things in PS.

Example:  I am doing a lot of thin-wall parts for RC airplanes.  Many designers will lay down a "base", say two solid layers 0.3mm thick with two perimeters.  Then right above that base they will switch to Vase mode for the rest of the print.  This is DEAD EASY in S3D by simply stacking one S3D "Process" on another.  And each process has ALL the capability of the slicer available, vase mode, layers, perimeters, temperatures... everything.  It is like opening another part on top of the present one and starting over.

I am trying to do the same in PS but I am getting stuck.  I can't figure out any way to do that.  I can change layers, perimeters and some other stuff but the entire range of options is limited.  I have tried Height Range Modifiers, etc. but cannot find a way to do everything, especially switching to vase mode.

Am I missing something?

In addition to that the 'full' range of options is not on the quick options, you have to use the Add Settings item and then more become available.  Even those though are limited.  They are no where near as flexible as the S3D processes.

RE:

This is a pretty big drawback.  And it doesn't appear to be that difficult to implement.  But I'm no programmer.  S3D has had that capability for years and years.
