Feature request

I have recently added feature request on github for something I wish to have implemented in PrusaSlicer and I wonder if it is the correct method, or shoud the FRs be rather discussed here?

RE: Feature request

You can discuss feature requests here, but the best place to catch the developers eye, is on GitHub.

Discussion here might raise suggestions on alternative approaches from other users.

RE: Feature request

The github request has been closed as the feature already exists and to quote the github 'has for years'.

RE: Feature request

I would like to have a very simple feature which could saves a bunch of filament and print life's:

Some times, had that even with my mini, the printers decides to kiss the part after successful printing and ruins the whole print which is very annoying.

Prusa slicer got many warning massages in the last time which is quite nice to have.

So, my wish: why not implement another warning massag which Checks if there's a honing or at least a -Z moving command in the end of the gcode? This would be easy to do and also great to have. (Maybe also on the viewer?)

RE:

Top most ironing seems limited. I like the feature now, with all the fine tuning adjustments. But what if I have multiple items on the bed, different heights, 2 faces on same height but I only want ironing on one of them... etc The selection of heights and ranges are just tedious.

My thought was be able to simply select faces (flat ones facing up obviously)  on the model where I want the ironing to take place, not just the topmost. Or is there other similar, much simpler workaround that I'm not aware of???

Cheers
