Exporting STL files with modifiers included.
This topic seemed to be popular 3 to 4 years ago, and I read a post that the ability to include modifiers, particularly negative ones, had been added to version 2.6, but I haven't seen anything on it since.
I would like to have the ability to incorporate a negative volume in a model on the plate and then be able to export it as an STL. I don't want a 3MF file. That has way too much info. I just want a simple STL file. When I try to do this in 2.7.1 it gives me an error that only positive parts of the model will be included, which of course is not what I'm after.
Does anyone know if this is possible? Was it included and then removed from some reason? If it's possible, what do I need to do?
