Exporting sliced geometry as STL
Hi,
is it somehow possible, to export a sliced part as geometry. STEP or STL would be great. So i can run some calculations and maybe do some optimisations on the geometry?

im also interested in this topic. I want the sliced geometry of the part for an FDM simulation. Thomas have you found any solution yet or is there someone else with a solution?

You can Export Toolpaths as .obj that's the sliced version of your project.

Hi,
i didn't found anything usefull yet. But maybe the .obj is at least a good starting point. But it does not produce a good closed volume that you could use for a simulation directly.
