Non-Functional Bridging Angle in 2025...???
GDSeriously!
RE: Expert Mode? Really?
This is a user-to-user support forum, is there any point to this that anyone here can help you with? In which case a few details would help, such as a 3mf file that would show us why you think bridging angles are non-functional? (needs to be Zip compressed before uploading; yes…. zip compression required in 2025?? I know…. the forum software just sucks).

RE:
Sorry but not sorry about being frustrated. I got into 3D printing in 2014 and I don't think I'm being pedantic when I expect software with an option called "expert" mode to allow me to choose what angle bridging happens at. On my part much of the bridging would be more effective printed at 45deg to the part. Here are a couple pictures confirming what I'm getting. I made a zipped file of the .mf for the part.

RE: Expert Mode? Really?
What may be confusing to the OP is that fill angles are NOT relative to the OBJECT. They are relative to the workspace, ie the bed.
You can set all the various different types of fill angles and they will still be sliced in whatever direction you have set them even if you rotate the object.
