Exclude region (not object) feature?
Hi,
I've made a mod to the front of my Voron 2.4 toolhead that protrudes a bit forward and would cause the toolhead to run into the enclosure's font doors if the Y position was under 20.
To avoid accidents, is there a way in Prusa Slicer to mark an area of the build plate (in my case, everything Y < 20) as a "no-go" zone?
I know you can change the bed shape in "Printer Settings > General > Bed Shape > Set", but I'm not sure changing the Y origin would actually address that issue. Or would it?
Thanks,
Julien

No there is no way to do this. Changing the origin would also not fix this.
Common work arounds is to load in a custom bed image that has been modified to colour the areas you want to keep out of differently. This doesn't stop PS trying to use the area but at least you get a visual reminder of the fact an area is being used so you can manually do something about it.
There is at least one open issue on github for such a request https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/3866

Thank you, that's very useful. I do like the workaround of using a custom bed image. That should be good enough for me!
