Ender 6 profile not showing up in Configuration Wizard

Hi,

PrusaSlicer 2.3.1

I am looking for the Creality Ender 6 profile, I can see the files here:

PrusaSlicer\resources\profiles\Creality

But it doesn't show up.  What do I need to do to get it to be visible and selectable?

Thanks in advance

JBB

RE: Ender 6 profile not showing up in Configuration Wizard

I just ran through the wizard with PS2.3.1 on windows 10 and the Ender 6 was there as pictured by Joan.  What OS are you on ?

btw that picture you posted doesnt appear to be from the wizard, it appears to be from a file browser.  Under the PrusaSlicer\vendor location does the Creality.ini have a section for the Ender 6 ?

The one on my PC has the following section as well as other sections that reference the Ender 6

[printer_model:ENDER6]
name = Creality Ender-6
variants = 0.4
technology = FFF
family = ENDER
bed_model = ender6_bed.stl
bed_texture = ender6.svg
default_materials = Generic PLA @CREALITY; Generic PETG @CREALITY; Generic ABS @CREALITY; Creality PLA @CREALITY; Prusament PLA @CREALITY; Prusament PETG @CREALITY; AzureFilm PLA @CREALITY; Devil Design PLA @CREALITY; Devil Design PLA Matt @CREALITY; Devil Design PLA Galaxy @CREALITY; Extrudr PLA NX2 @CREALITY; Real Filament PLA @CREALITY; Velleman PLA @CREALITY; 3DJAKE ecoPLA @CREALITY; 3DJAKE ecoPLA Matt @CREALITY; 3DJAKE ecoPLA Tough @CREALITY; 123-3D Jupiter PLA @CREALITY

Sorry, I pasted the wrong picture.  This is what I see in my config wizard:

I verified it is Prusa 2.3.1, I'm going to uninstall and reinstall to see if that fixes it

Just an update, I had originally installed (few months ago) Prusa 2.3.0.

I've done a full removal and reinstall using the PrusaSlicer_Win_standalone_2.3.1.exe installer.

Ender 6 still doesn't show up

@neophyl

Mine has that as well.

It's weird, it's almost as if it's not looking at the directory it's been installed to.

Also, and probably related:

I previously had my Ender 3 configured.  I did a full uninstall, manually deleted the directories from ProgramFiles, and then reinstalled.

The Ender 3 configuration is still there, but the Ender 6 still isn't showing up

And to all of you, thank you for your time in helping me to figure this out

RE: Ender 6 profile not showing up in Configuration Wizard

I found my problem.

Apparently the Creality.ini was copied to my roaming profile.

The Ender6 was commented out in there, and was actually different than what was in the released version.

I copied over the Ender6 section into the file in the roaming profile, and it now shows up.  Haven't yet tested it, since my printer is busy, but will test later on
