Empty 1st layer from PrusaSlic3r in OctoPi GCode Viewer

So I'm just starting to use PrusaSlic3r, switching over from Cura. I've got AnyCubic i3 Mega S, which Prusa nicely has a preset for. I sliced a new model, saved the GCode, and when I bring it into my OctoPi web UI (don't have it connected to PrusaSlic3r yet), the GCode viewer shows layer 1 is completely empty, and some layers have the full base, and some have just the support. Some, like for the support, have an odd layer height number (like 0.913) with the one below being 0.8, and the one above being 1.0.

So far _seems_ to be printing OK, but just wondering if this is just a weird thing in OctoPrint GCode viewer not quite getting the PrusaSlic3r GCode properly interpreted or something.

Support layer height is not tied to object layer height under normal use.  This is quite normal.
Don’t know about your empty first layer , would need much more info starting with a saved Prusa slicer project file 3mf zipping up and posting here so we can take a look at it.

Ok, cool

But what about the 1st layer seemingly empty? OctoPrint GCode viewer shows it as having nothing with a height of 0.2mm, and then layer 2 of having height 0.3mm.

As I mentioned in my original reply its going to take further info to even try and figure out the first layer preview issue.

So please attach a zipped up Prusa Slicer project file.

Oh! Sorry, completely missed seeing that as part of your reply.

I've attached the zip file with the files.

your Gcode looks ok to me...

I thing this may be an octoprint issue, certainly scrolling down through the Gcode, the lower layer, looks complete

have you tried Snug infill.  it should print faster and affect the front of the base by the two large holes, less

I try to make safe suggestions,You should understand the context and ensure you are happy that they are safe before attempting to apply my suggestions, what you do, is YOUR responsibility. Location Halifax UK
