Element disappeared after slicing

Hey all,

I am facing a problem with the Prusa Slicer.

Below you can see the part after loading it from the HDD.
Second picture shows the situation after slicing.

As it can be seen, the inner "wall" element disappeared.

I have no error messages and also tried the "Netfabb repair" as read in an other post.
Model is made with fusion 360 and I am using slicer version 2.4.2.

Any ideas what the problem can be?

Wall's too thin. Turning on Detect thin walls may help.

Hi fuchsr,

thank you for your tip!
It worked 🙂

What surprised me, because I thought something like that and made the wall 1.2 mm for testing.
Then you can no longer talk about a thin wall.
The problem was the same.
In addition, the outer edge is even thinner and is detected.
Very strange.

Anyway, with your hint it seems to work now.

Will print right away, thanks again!

Glad it worked. Feel free to upload the 3mf project file (which contains the STL and your settings) here so I or someone else here can take a look. Sometimes a curved wall with a nominal width in Fusion that should be sufficient to print may still create problems as the tesselation involved in turning the model into an STL may make the wall effectively thinner. But usually 1.2mm should be plenty for a 0.4 mm nozzle with standard extrusion width.
