Documentation, variable infill, undo multicolor

Hi All,

first let me thank all the developers for this great piece of software and making it available as free software.

I have a couple of questions (I am using the snap package on  Ubuntu 18.04):

Where is the documentation for prusaslicer? There is the github page, the forum, but is there something like a manual?

Is there a way to get variable infill into your model? Thomas Sanladerer briefly talks about this in his video here: at about 7:40 mins.

Sometimes I accidentially click on the plus symbol besides the layer slider which I guess is the multicolor function. Is there a way to undo that? So far, I just reload the whole object and reslice.

Keep up the good work and thanks again,

Christian

Hi Christian,
I have to say, I have not seen a user-guide for Prusa Slicer

https://www.prusa3d.com/prusaslicer/

the Multi-colour tool, adds colour-changes when you click the '+' symbol at any layer height, the marker that is left at that point, has an 'X' symbol next to it, clicking this will remove the marker...

when using the colour tool, the slicer will colour the first section red, then orange, then yellow, then green, followed by Blue then purple... if you have enough colour-changes, the sequence repeats.

If you use modifiers, you can change infill density etc...

in this picture I have a cube model with an intersecting Spherical modifier

then I set the modifier to honeycomb infill at 5% and this was the result, in cross section

Hello Joan,

thank you very much for your response. I found the undo button - finally!!

But how do the modifiers work. Do I just import (let stick to your example) a sperical object as an .stl file, overlap it with my existing model and then what?

... ah, never mind, I seem to miss the "editing" collumn where the stl files are listed. I am still on version 2.0. I will install the next version and then we'll see.

Thank you very much for your help,

Christian

Hello again. I upgraded to version2.1 of prusaslicer and all of a sudden the modifiers are there.

Thanks again for your help. all is well now.

Cheers, Christian

BTW, while searching for the modifiers I discovered the layer editing button. This is a rather interesting function as well. I will be playing with this a lot in the future I think.
