Different print parameter with a modification cube?

Hello, I'm a new Prusa user and it's fantastic!

So I discover PrusaSlicer.

I would like to be able to configure two different print settings using a modification cube.I placed it in the right place, but I can't find the right setting. For this part, I would like to have a finer “Detail” print (0.1) of better quality for de number.

Is it possible ?

Thanks in advance

Right click on your modification shape and then from the context menu "Add settings" ....

I see that you can't change the layer height for modifiers. Perhaps you could use the feature "variable layer height" for this? You paint in the region where you want more detail, like for the paint on supports.

Layer heights have to apply to the whole layer of an Object.  They can be different for different heights of an Object using either a Layer Height modifier or the Variable layer Height tool that Walter mentions but you can't for example make just the front slope have a different layer height.  That whole section would have to have the lower layer height.

Different Objects can have different layer heights though, as each Object is sliced individually.

For something like you picture you could set all the lower layers (the straight up/down section) to a lower layer height like 0.3 as it doesn't need detail as its flat walls and then once it reaches the height of the slope then drop it to 0.15 or 0.1.  That way you get both.
Be aware that with the slope that you will be limited in the detail you can get in part by your nozzle diameter/extrusion width too.

Hello,
Thank you for your answers !I understand the "by layer" logic which is not compatible with my slope.
So I used Layer height modifier 😉
Just one more question, it is not possible to configure several different modifications in Layer height modifier? I would have done something like: 20 to 30: 0.1mm & 40 to 50: 0.1mm

And otherwise I had already activated the variable layer height option. But as it's a big company I'm trying to save as much time as possible 😉
