Correcting Time Estimates?
Greetings! 😃
I'm currently experiencing a little bit of a problem regarding inaccurate time estimates with my prints - They finish on average by a â…“ faster than what PrusaSlicer predicts.
The Machine Limits used to calculate the print times represent what is set in the Printers Config file ( Feed Rates, Acceleration, Jerk ) but the times are what I'd describe as kinda whack:
Print I expected 4h15min vs. result 2h53min
Print II expected 2h20min vs. result 1h34min
Print III expected 7h59min vs. result 5h13min
etc...
I did some calculation on those times and they're in the 65-68% range so about a â…“ Overestimation of the actual time it took to print the parts.
Screenshots of the Print and Printer Settings:
Printer Config:
[input_shaper] shaper_freq_x: 71.4 shaper_type_x: 2hump_ei shaper_freq_y: 40.2 shaper_type_y: mzv [printer] kinematics: corexy max_velocity: 300 max_accel: 4800 max_accel_to_decel: 4800 max_z_velocity: 30 max_z_accel: 350 square_corner_velocity: 3.0
Somehow, I'd imagine the printer running slower than the simulation given that the Print Settings has sections running slower than what the machine is capable as a whole but here it's the exact opposite? 🤨
Any suggestions on how to fix that? 🤔
