Color Change Routine
The finial below the pendulum is used to adjust the speed of the clock by changing the length slightly. It is a single color, but needs to be paused at 6.95mm to drop in a 6-32 nylon insert locknut and continue printing. The position is at just after the hex shaped hole for the locknut closes. I treat this as a color change even though the color stays the same. The printer waits for you to remove the black filament, drop the locknut in the hole with the nylon portion up, and then put the black filament back in then continues to finish the print.
Here is the problem with this procedure. When the color change routine pauses waiting for me to remove the filament the print head has moved to the far right and the print bed has moved to the back of the carriage. Now in order to insert the nylon locknut I am forced to work around the power supply on one side and I am encumbered with the control bundle stretched from the control box and the print head on the other side.
The question: Is there a way to have the bed reposition itself to the front of the machine and wait for the color change instead of the back?
Thank You for your help.

Swiss_Cheese ...If you can get off your almighty high horse and do yourself and others a fever please do not to give advice that you know nothing about. What you are blindly unaware of is when (M600 Y200) is entered into 'Add another code' option, in Slicer it will not work!!! The only way to get the code to be effective is to enter the code in the appropriate spot in Slicer and that is under PRINTER SETTINGS/CUSTOM G-CODE/COLOR CHANGE G-CODE. Now if you stop looking through the holes in your Swiss_Cheese you will see it
RE: Color Change Routine
M600 can have additional attributes to change the performance
so
M600 Y200, may do the business for you.
it's easy to do this with the 'Add another code' option, in Slicer

@lgclemens
It works, you may want to take a bit more time and brush up on your Gcode.

Mh, I don't know much about horses and looking through holes in cheese but inserting M600 Y200 with "add another code" and putting M600 Y200 into the COLOR CHANGE G-CODE and adding a color change produces the exact same G-code.
Swiss_Cheese is right, it works.
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

It is called burning bridges. Very effective if you want silence the next time you are looking for help. As for marking your own post as best answer? Maybe, if you found the answer yourself after the thread was started and posted it. But to use it as a way to take a shot at someone! Totally wrong.
Depending on the project, I make my M600 happen at different X, Y and Z(offset) values. The default Z of 60 is too small for my hands. 🙂 🙃 🙂 🙃 🙂
